The HPE 1600W -48VDC 600V 3.5m Power Cable Kit (P22173-B21) is the DC input cable for the HPE 1600W Flex Slot -48VDC Hot Plug Power Supply (P17023-B21), connecting the supply to a -48V DC distribution in telco, edge and data-centre racks.
HPE QuickSpecs state that P22173-B21 (cable kit) or P36877-B21 (lug kit) is to be used with the 1600W -48VDC power supply, and that only one cable kit or lug kit is needed per supply. The power supply itself ships without a DC cable, so this kit is what makes it usable.
Before you order: This kit is only for the HPE 1600W Flex Slot -48VDC power supply (P17023-B21). It is not for AC power supplies or the 800W -48VDC units, which use a different cable (Q0H80A).
