DIGITUS DK-1617-200 Cat 6 U/UTP Patch Cable 20 m Grey
20 m greyCat 6 U/UTP250 MHzLSOH halogen-free
The DIGITUS DK-1617-200 is a 20-metre grey Cat 6 U/UTP patch cable tested to 250 MHz, terminated with moulded snagless RJ45 plugs and built for unshielded Gigabit runs between floor outlets, switches and workstations. Part number DK-1617-200 uses 4 x 2 AWG 26/7 stranded copper with no foil or braid, which keeps the cord thin and flexible over a long run, and the LSOH jacket is halogen-free for installations where fire-load rules apply. An anti-kink grommet with strain relief and latching-lever protection keeps the plug serviceable where the cable is pulled through trunking or under a desk. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Distributor correction — this is Cat 6, not "Cat 6e"
The distributor listing describes this cable as CAT 6e. There is no such ISO or TIA category: the DIGITUS datasheet specifies it as Cat 6, Class E, tested up to 250 MHz, and that is what we have listed. It is also U/UTP (unshielded) — there is no foil or braid, so do not specify it where the rest of the channel is shielded or where the run follows mains cabling. DIGITUS publishes no 802.3 PoE class for this article.
Key Features
Gigabit over a long run
Cat 6 tested to 250 MHz carries Gigabit Ethernet comfortably across the full 20 m and supports short 10GBASE-T hops where distances allow.
Thin, flexible unshielded build
Stranded AWG 26/7 bare copper with no shield keeps the cord pliable, which matters when you are routing 20 m through trunking, under desks or along a skirting run.
Protected, snagless plugs
Moulded snagless hoods with an anti-kink grommet, strain relief and latching-lever protection stop the clip catching and shearing when the cable is pulled through a bundle.

Singular Expert Insight
The DK-1617-200 is a straightforward long unshielded Gigabit cord — good for reaching a desk, a printer or a wall point that sits further from the switch than a standard 5 m cable can manage, at a price that reflects Cat 6 rather than Cat 6A. If the link needs to certify at 10 Gigabit, the equip 603008 (Cat 6A U/UTP) is the better buy for a similar installation profile; if the run passes close to power, move to an EFB S/FTP cord. Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You need a long, flexible unshielded Gigabit run in an ordinary office environment and want halogen-free jacketing.
Skip it if
You need a certified 10 Gigabit link, a shielded channel, or a documented PoE rating.
