Equip 606801 Cat 6A S/FTP Patch Cable — 0.25 m, Purple
Cat 6A · 10 GbpsS/FTP PiMF0.25 m PurpleLSZH · PoE+
The Equip 606801 is a 0.25 m Cat 6A S/FTP patch cable in purple that links patch panels, switches and servers at up to 10 Gbps over 500 MHz of bandwidth, built for tidy high-density racks. Part number 606801 uses fully shielded PiMF construction (foil around each pair plus an overall braid), stranded bare copper conductors to AWG 26/7 and a halogen-free LSZH jacket. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Before you buy
At 25 cm this cord is meant for panel-to-switch jumps inside one rack or between adjacent units — measure the port-to-port run before ordering, as there is no slack. Full 10GBASE-T performance needs Cat 6A across the whole channel (patch panel, keystones and the other cords). Equip rates the cable for PoE and PoE+ (IEEE 802.3af/at); no 802.3bt rating is published. Bare copper, not CCA.
Key Features
Full S/FTP PiMF shielding
Each twisted pair is wrapped in its own foil and the four pairs sit inside an overall braid — the best practical defence against alien crosstalk and EMI in dense 10G racks.
Rack-length 0.25 m
A quarter-metre cord keeps patch fields clean: no loops to dress, better airflow and faster tracing. The purple jacket helps colour-code VLANs, uplinks or power-over-Ethernet ports.
LSZH, bare copper
Low-smoke zero-halogen jacket for server rooms and offices, stranded bare copper AWG 26/7 for flexibility and low resistance, moulded boots with strain relief and gold-plated contacts.

Singular Expert Insight
Short Cat 6A S/FTP cords are the cleanest way to patch a 10G rack: shielded, halogen-free and copper, the Equip 606801 matches the cabling you would put between a patch panel and modern multi-gig network switches. If your switch is only Gigabit and the environment is quiet, a cheaper Cat 6 U/UTP cord does the same job — browse our network cables range for both. We suggest buying one colour per function (uplinks, PoE, servers) to keep the rack readable.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
You patch a 10G or multi-gig rack and want shielded, LSZH, copper 25 cm jumpers that match colour-coded ports.
Skip it if
Your devices are more than a rack unit or two apart — 0.25 m leaves no slack; pick the 0.5–2 m versions instead.
Also consider
Equip Cat 6A S/FTP in 0.5 m or 1 m for looser patching, or Cat 6 U/UTP cords for Gigabit-only desks.
