The 3M PF340W2E is a full-screen, edge-to-edge black privacy filter for 34-inch 21:9 monitors that blacks out the screen for anyone viewing from the side, while the person sitting in front keeps a clear picture. It is aimed at offices, reception desks, banks, clinics and anyone who works with customer, financial or personal data in shared spaces or on the move.

The filter measures 808 × 342 mm (31.81 × 13.46 in), is used in landscape orientation and attaches with Large Display Attachment. One side is glossy and the other matte, so you choose between maximum sharpness and reduced reflections. 3M states that the filter helps reduce blue light without distorting the natural colours of the display.

• Anyone sitting outside a 60° viewing angle sees a dark screen; someone standing directly behind you can still see it, so position your desk accordingly.
