The StarTech.com RKPNL4U is a 4U solid steel blanking panel that closes an unused gap in a 19" server or network rack, keeping hot exhaust air from recirculating to the front of your equipment and giving the cabinet a clean, finished front. It is aimed at anyone running switches, servers or UPS units in a rack with empty positions between devices.
Blanking panels are one of the simplest airflow fixes in a rack: without them, cooling fans pull warm air back through open gaps instead of drawing cool air from the front. A single 4U panel covers a large gap in one piece, and the powder-coated black finish matches most modern cabinets.
Before you order: 19" racks only. The supplied hardware is M6 screws with M6 cage nuts, which suits square-hole rails; for threaded or round-hole rails use screws that match your rack.

- Does not route or hold cables; it is a cover, not a cable manager.
- The M6 hardware will not suit 10-32 threaded rails; use your rack's own screws there.
