LANCOM LANcare Advanced M (item 10731), now sold by Rohde & Schwarz as R&S®NC Replacement Advanced, is a five-year advance replacement service for one LANCOM device in service class M. Unlike the Basic service, the replacement device is sent before the faulty one is returned: Rohde & Schwarz states delivery on the next working day if the fault is reported by 14:00 CET, with the defective unit collected by courier free of charge. It also includes security updates until the device reaches end of life, at least five years. The service is registered to one serial number. In practice it keeps the downtime of a critical router or firewall as short as possible.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Important for Cyprus: the LANcare manual limits next-business-day delivery to metropolitan areas within the EU, excluding islands, so next-day delivery to Cyprus is not assured — ask us how a replacement would reach your site. Each LANCOM device datasheet states its service class (S, M, L or XL). Register within three months of buying the device; the device must work at registration and the service cannot be transferred. Unmanaged switches, AirLancer products and accessories are excluded. Tell us your device model and we confirm the class.
