Frequently Asked Questions

58mm vs 80mm — which paper size do I need?
58mm is the smaller / narrow format — common for kiosks, parking machines, small cafés and short receipts. 80mm is the standard retail-till format with more line width per receipt. Choose by your software / receipt template.
Does it really work over Ethernet?
Yes — the 351001 has a built-in Ethernet (LAN) port for direct network connection. You can drive it as a shared / networked printer from multiple POS stations or backend systems via standard IP printing.
Does it include a cash drawer?
No — only the 12V cash drawer trigger port is included on the printer. You connect a compatible 12V cash drawer separately; the printer fires the open pulse at end of sale.
Singular Expert Insight
Choose 351001 if you specifically need 58mm narrow-format receipts (kiosks, parking, takeaway) with the flexibility of both USB and Ethernet (LAN) connectivity. If you need the standard 80mm retail-till format, the Equip 351002 (USB + cash drawer only) is cheaper, and the Equip 351003 (USB + Ethernet + Serial + cash drawer) is the 80mm networked variant. For tablet / mobile POS the Equip 351004 (USB + Bluetooth + Wi-Fi) is the wireless option.

Buyer's Guide

Buy it if
You need a compact 58mm thermal POS printer with both USB and Ethernet connectivity, ESC/POS compatibility and an auto cutter — kiosks, ticket booths, networked POS.
Skip it if
You need standard 80mm retail receipts, wireless / Bluetooth printing from a tablet, or label / barcode-dedicated printing — those need different Equip models.
Also consider
Equip 351002 for 80mm USB-only at lower cost, Equip 351003 for 80mm USB + Ethernet + Serial, or Equip 351004 for 80mm Bluetooth + Wi-Fi wireless POS.
