ABUS 8 MP 4K IP Mini Tube Camera, 4 mm 78°, IR 30 m, Person/Vehicle AI, PoE, IP67, White

The ABUS IPCB38511B is a 8 MP IP mini tube camera with a 4 mm lens (78° horizontal), infrared up to 30 m and IP67 weather protection — built for professional installations in shops, offices and commercial premises.

Part of the ABUS professional IP range, it combines a large 1/1.8" sensor and F1.4 aperture for low-light images (0.003 lx in colour) with on-camera person/vehicle classification, ONVIF Profile G, S and T for third-party recorders, and a microSD slot for local recording.

• ABUS IPCB38511B Mini Tube camera with quick guide and safety notes
• No power supply — it is meant to be powered over PoE from a switch or recorder
• Network cable, microSD card and junction box are not included

• 8 MP (3840 × 2160) gives about four times the detail of a 2 MP camera — enough to digitally zoom into a recording and still recognise a face or a number plate at short range.
• The 30 m infrared range sets how far you see in the dark; beyond that the image falls off to black.
• A single network cable carries video and power (PoE 802.3af); 12 V DC operation is available where there is no PoE switch.
• A microSD slot (up to 256 GB (card not included)) keeps recording locally if the network or recorder is down.
• Person/vehicle classification lets the camera ignore moving branches, rain and animals, so alerts are about people and cars.
• The mini tube with its sun shield is easy to aim at a gate, door or driveway and acts as a visible deterrent.

• No microphone and no audio connections — this camera records video only.
• No alarm input or output on the camera itself.
• Not an analogue (BNC/coax) camera — it needs a network recorder, an IP-capable hybrid recorder or direct app access.
• Fixed lens — no zoom; pick 2.8 mm for width or 4 mm for distance before ordering.
• No colour at night — the image switches to black-and-white infrared.
