The ABUS TVVR33843T combines 4 TVCC35512 5 MP mini tube analogue cameras with one TVVR33803 8-channel hybrid recorder and a 1 TB surveillance hard disk. Run a supplied 30 m combination video/power cable to each camera and connect the supplied 12 V adapters. These are wired BNC analogue cameras, not Wi-Fi or PoE IP cameras. A separate monitor or networked PC provides local viewing/configuration; internet is needed for remote mobile access.

Before you order:
The cameras output 5 MP at 20 fps, but this recorder lists 5 MP recording at 12 fps per camera. Output and stored frame rates are different. The kit page states security updates to 2027-06-30, while the recorder page states 2026-12-31; confirm the current support policy for the supplied hardware. No monitor is included.

What It Means in Practice

  • For a small shop or entrance area, plan 4 fixed camera views and route the supplied combination cables back to the recorder area. The cable carries analogue video and separate DC power conductors; it does not make the camera an Ethernet/PoE device. Configure recording schedules and test day/night lighting. The supplied 1 TB drive stores recordings locally; retention depends on bitrate, activity and recording settings.

What Will Not Work

  • Wireless or battery-only camera installation, or connecting these BNC cameras directly to a router/PoE port.
  • Assuming every maximum resolution, frame rate and analysis mode is available simultaneously.
  • Using the cameras’ IP67 rating as a weatherproof rating for the recorder, adapters or unprotected connectors.
