The ABUS PPDF17520 is one fixed-view add-on camera for a compatible EasyLook BasicSet monitor, which is not included. It sends 3 MP video and two-way audio over an encrypted camera-to-monitor radio link, without internet, home Wi-Fi, a smartphone or an app. The camera needs continuous adapter power; wireless refers to video transmission.

Before you order:
A compatible PPDF17000 or PPDF17100 monitor is required. Up to 4 cameras share one monitor; a camera cannot be paired to several monitors simultaneously.

What's in the Box

  • 1 × PPDF17520 camera, 1 × 12 V DC / 1 A adapter and 1 antenna.
  • Mounting materials, drill template, quick guide and safety information. Monitor and microSD recording card separate.

What It Means in Practice

  • For another entrance or a garden view, power the camera and use the monitor’s camera menu to pair it. Test the live signal at the proposed position before drilling: walls and layout affect the stated 20–50 m radio range. Aim the fixed camera and its 8 m PIR zone at the route you want to detect.

What Will Not Work

  • Remote smartphone viewing or joining the camera directly to a home Wi-Fi router.
  • Battery-only camera operation. This package does not include the required monitor.
