The ABUS PPIC91600 is one solar panel with mount and USB-C connection cable for the ABUS Battery Cam Pro. It replenishes the compatible camera battery during operation, reducing the need to remove or manually recharge the camera. The camera and its required base system are separate. This panel is not compatible with the older Wi-Fi Battery Cam PPIC90000 series.
Before you order:
Install current firmware for both base and camera, then choose Solar mode in camera settings. Automatic charging needs sunlight, a clean panel and temperatures between 0 and 45°C. The wider -20 to 60°C operating range is not a charging-temperature promise. Independence from manual charging depends on camera activity and local conditions.

What It Means in Practice
- For a high-mounted Battery Cam Pro, put the panel in a sunnier position within cable reach, aim its ball-head mount towards the sun and connect it to the camera. Update the camera/base firmware and select Solar mode. Watch the battery level during your normal recording pattern to judge whether local sunlight covers your usage.

- Older PPIC90000 Wi-Fi Battery Cam models.
- Guaranteed charging in shade, with a dirty panel or outside the 0–45°C charging range.
