Add a camera to your Battery Cam Pro system
3 MP videoPIR detectionTwo-way audioIP65
The ABUS PPIC91520 is one rechargeable add-on camera for an existing Battery Cam Pro system. It sends 3 MP video to the required base station and App2Cam Plus, with person detection, two-way audio and colour night vision using a visible white LED. The base station is not included: this camera does not operate as a standalone Wi-Fi camera.
Before you order:
You need the Battery Cam Pro base from the PPIC91000 system, a router and an Android/iOS phone with App2Cam Plus. Recording uses a USB 3.0 or later drive, up to 128 GB, at the base. The base, USB storage and 5 V USB power supply are not included. The manufacturer declares security updates at least until 2026-11-28; check the current support horizon before a long-term installation.
What's in the Box
- 1 x camera and 1 x antenna
- 1 x wall bracket, mounting materials and drilling template
- 1 x USB-A to USB-C cable and 1 x reset tool
What It Means in Practice
- Charge the camera, add it to your existing base through App2Cam Plus and place it within reliable radio range. For a side entrance, aim the PIR detection zone at the route people take within 8 m; use the app to view notifications, recordings and live video. Objects beyond 8 m can appear in live view without triggering recording.
What Will Not Work
- Operation without the required Battery Cam Pro base.
- Expecting PIR-triggered recording beyond 8 m or invisible infrared night lighting.
Best For
✓ Extending an existing ABUS Battery Cam Pro system to another entrance
✓ Indoor or outdoor positions where rechargeable power is useful
Key Features
3 MP with colour at night
The 120° horizontal view covers an entrance area. A visible white LED lights the scene for colour night vision; this model has no infrared LED.
Detection with a defined working zone
PIR detection reaches up to 8 m across 112°. Person detection and push notifications help you check events, while the microphone and speaker support conversation.
Rechargeable, with optional solar support
Recharge through USB-C or add the separately sold PPIC91600 solar panel. Up to 6 months is based on about 4 recordings/accesses per day; frequent viewing, temperature and radio conditions reduce runtime.
Storage and privacy at the system level
Recordings use a USB drive at the base, with no obligatory subscription. Configure three privacy zones and choose the retention period suited to your installation.

Singular Expert Insight
Check the base model first, then plan the detection distance and charging access. The optical field of view extends farther than the PIR trigger zone, so position the camera for the route you want to detect. Also verify the current security-update commitment before buying for a long service life. Check your existing ABUS base and installation with Singular
