Frequently Asked Questions

Is the Acer PL6820 a native 4K projector?
Yes. It has native 4K UHD 3840×2160 resolution for detailed large-screen projection.
Is the Acer PL6820 a short throw projector?
No. The PL6820 uses a standard throw ratio of 1.2 to 2.04, making it more suitable for rooms with enough projector-to-screen distance.
Is it suitable for professional installations?
Yes. The 5500 ANSI lumen brightness, laser light source, HDBaseT, LAN control, RS-232, 360-degree projection support and 24/7 suitability make it a strong fit for professional AV setups.
Singular Expert Insight
Choose the Acer PL6820 if you need a bright 4K laser projector for large rooms, lecture halls, commercial displays or professional AV installations. If the projector must sit very close to the screen, choose a short throw model; if Full HD is enough, a lower-cost 1080p laser projector may be better value.

Buyer’s Guide

Buy it if
You need 4K UHD detail, 5500 ANSI lumens brightness, laser light-source reliability and professional connectivity for a larger room or installation.
Skip it if
You need a portable projector, ultra-short-throw placement, built-in smart TV apps or the lowest-cost projector for occasional basic use.
Also consider
Consider a short throw projector for tight rooms, or a Full HD laser projector if the budget matters more than 4K detail.
