Acer Connect Ovia T520 — Wi-Fi 7 Tri-Band Mesh Router (1-Pack)
Wi-Fi 76 GHz band + MLO4 RJ45 portsUp to 110 m² per node
The Acer Connect Ovia T520 (part number FF.G3ATA.001) is a Wi-Fi 7 tri-band mesh router sold as a single unit. On its own it replaces your home or small-office router; add more Ovia T520 nodes later and they join into one mesh network with a single Wi-Fi name, so phones and laptops move between rooms without reconnecting. Acer rates one node for up to 110 m² and publishes 688 Mbps on 2.4 GHz, 2,882 Mbps on 5 GHz and 5,764 Mbps on the 6 GHz band, with Multi-Link Operation. Setup and control run through the Acer Connect app, with VPN, firewall and parental controls built in.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is ONE node. For mesh coverage across a larger home you need two or more T520 units — Acer also sells 2- and 3-packs. You still need an internet connection: the Ovia connects to your provider’s modem or fibre terminal through its WAN port; it is not a modem and has no SIM slot. 6 GHz speeds need Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 devices; older devices connect on 2.4 or 5 GHz. Acer does not publish the Ethernet port speed (Gigabit or 2.5G) or whether T520 can mesh with other Ovia models, so plan a network of identical units. Tell us your internet plan and home size and we suggest how many nodes you need.
Best For
✓ Replacing an ISP-supplied router with Wi-Fi 7
✓ Homes and small offices up to about 110 m² per node
✓ Growing into a mesh system one node at a time
✓ Families who want parental controls and app management
✓ Streaming 4K video on several devices at once
✓ Gaming consoles and PCs wired via the LAN ports
Key Features
Wi-Fi 7 tri-band with 6 GHz
Three bands — 688 Mbps (2.4 GHz), 2,882 Mbps (5 GHz, 160 MHz) and 5,764 Mbps (6 GHz) — plus Multi-Link Operation, which lets Wi-Fi 7 devices use more than one band at once.
Mesh that grows with you
Start with one node and add more T520 units later; they form one seamless network with automatic node switching as you move around.
Wired ports on every node
Four RJ45 ports — one WAN and three LAN — for a desktop PC, TV, console or network switch.
Security and control in an app
WPA3 encryption, VPN, firewall and parental controls, managed from the Acer Connect app, plus WPS for quick pairing.

Singular Expert Insight
The Ovia T520 adds the 6 GHz band and Multi-Link Operation, which is where Wi-Fi 7 shows its real speed with new phones and laptops. If your devices are mostly older and your home is small, the dual-band Ovia T360 costs less. See all our routers and mesh systems, or add a network switch if you need more wired ports than the Ovia provides.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You have Wi-Fi 6E or Wi-Fi 7 devices, a fast internet plan and want a tri-band router that can grow into a mesh.
Skip it if
All your devices are older Wi-Fi 5/6, or you need confirmed 2.5G Ethernet ports.
