Frequently Asked Questions

Does Windows Hello work on macOS / Linux?

Windows Hello is a Windows-only authentication framework. On macOS / Linux the camera works as a standard USB webcam for video calls.

Does it support USB-C laptop docking?

No — connectivity is HDMI and DisplayPort plus USB-B upstream for the USB-A hub. For USB-C docking choose the Acer Vero CB273U.

Can it run 4K@120Hz?

No — refresh is capped at 60Hz at 4K. For high-refresh 4K gaming choose the LG UltraGear 27GR93U-B or Acer Predator XB273K.

Is the webcam removable?

No — the FHD IR webcam is integrated into the top bezel. For privacy, disable in OS or cover the lens.

Singular Expert Insight

Choose the B277K L if you want 4K productivity plus built-in IR webcam and Windows Hello on a sustainable build. For USB-C docking at 4K, look at the ASUS ProArt PA279CV or LG 27UP850N-W. For 4K HDR400 with white finish, the LG UltraFine 27UP650K-W is a strong alternative.
