The Good Connections 8055-F18Q is an ultra-flat RJ45 pass-through that lets a network connection run through a closed window or door without drilling, for connecting an outdoor camera, access point, garden office or balcony device to the network inside.
It is a flexible printed-circuit film, about 0.3 mm thick, with an RJ45 socket at each end. You plug a patch cable into each side, lay the 18 cm flexible section over the window frame, and close the window over it.
Before you order: Patch cables are needed on both sides and are not included. Good Connections does not publish a Cat rating or maximum speed for this pass-through — tell us your link speed and length and we will advise.

What It Means in Practice
- Run a PoE camera or outdoor access point from inside without drilling a frame.
- Good for rented properties where drilling is not allowed.

- Transparent film stays discreet on a white or glass frame.
What Will Not Work
- It is not a patch cable — you still need a patch cable on each side.
- It is not weatherproof outdoor cabling; keep the RJ45 ends protected from rain.
- Not a guaranteed Gigabit/10G link: no Cat rating is published.
- A very tight window seal may not close fully over it — check your frame.

A flat pass-through is the clean answer when drilling is not allowed. Keep both patch cables short and good quality — the pass-through is the weakest link, so do not add long or low-grade patch cables around it.
