Good Connections 8060-020O RNS Cat 6 S/FTP Patch Cable — 2 m, Orange
Cat 6 · 250 MHzS/FTP PiMFRNS latch guard2 m Orange
The Good Connections 8060-020O is a 2 m orange Cat 6 S/FTP patch cable with fully shielded PiMF construction, rated to 250 MHz for dependable Gigabit links between PCs, patch panels and switches. Part number 8060-020O belongs to the RNS range — Rastnasenschutz, a moulded guard that stops the RJ45 latch snagging — with AWG 27 conductors, gold-plated contacts and a 6.0 mm PVC jacket. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus. (Also listed under the Alcasa trade name.)
Before you buy
This is a Cat 6 (250 MHz) cord — ideal for Gigabit, not specified for 10GBASE-T; choose Cat 6A for 10 Gbps. The jacket is PVC, not halogen-free. Good Connections does not publish the conductor material (copper vs CCA) or a PoE class for this range, so for PoE++ devices prefer a cord with a published 802.3bt rating.
Key Features
Fully shielded S/FTP PiMF
Foil around each pair plus an overall braid gives strong immunity to crosstalk and electrical noise near power cables, UPSs and machinery.
RNS latch protection
The Rastnasenschutz boot shields the RJ45 release tab so the cable pulls cleanly through racks and trunking without breaking the latch.
Orange for colour-coding
Bright orange makes it easy to mark uplinks, management ports or a specific VLAN in the rack; gold-plated contacts and 1:1 EIA/TIA-568B wiring.

Singular Expert Insight
Shielded Cat 6 with latch protection is a sensible upgrade over basic UTP cords in electrically noisy spaces, and the orange 8060-020O makes uplinks to your network switches easy to spot. For 10G or PoE++ links step up to a Cat 6A copper cord — our network cables range has both.
Buyer's Guide
