The Good Connections KAB-25T48 is a pack of 100 single-use cable ties, 250 mm long and 4.8 mm wide, made of polyamide 6.6 (nylon 66) in transparent, for bundling and fixing cables in racks, under desks, in control cabinets and on installations. It suits installers, IT staff and anyone tidying up a cable run.
At 25 cm the ties close around bundles up to 65 mm in diameter, and the 4.8 mm band is rated for 20 kg tensile strength by the manufacturer. They work from -40 to +85 °C and the material is rated UL 94 V-2. UV resistance is not stated for this colour, so use them indoors; for outdoor runs choose a black UV-resistant tie. Note: these are single-use ties — some listings describe them as releasable, but the manufacturer specifies them as single-use.

What Will Not Work
- They do not open again — once locked, a tie has to be cut off (for re-routable bundling use hook-and-loop ties)
- Not for bundles larger than 65 mm — use a longer tie
- Do not over-tighten on network cables: crushing Cat6/Cat6A cable can affect its performance — snug is enough
- Not UV-rated: prolonged sunlight will make them brittle
