The Good Connections P1430-S005 is a short 0.5 m IEC power cable with a C14 plug and a C13 socket, made for connecting servers, switches, NAS units, PCs and monitors to a UPS or rack PDU without loops of spare cable.
It uses H05VV-F 3G 0.75 mm² PVC cable with straight connectors at both ends and is rated 10 A at 250 V.
Before you order: This cable has no wall plug. It is for UPS and PDU outlets of type C13, or for extending an existing C13 cord.

What It Means in Practice
- C14 end into the UPS or PDU outlet, C13 end into the device: this matches the inlet of most servers, switches, desktop PCs, monitors and laser printers.
- At 0.5 m it is the right length for patching power inside a rack or from a UPS on the desk to the PC beside it, keeping airflow and cable runs clean.
- 10 A covers typical IT loads, including a dual-PSU server feeding each supply from a separate cable.
What Will Not Work
- It does not plug into a wall socket: there is no BS 1363 or Schuko plug.
- It does not fit C19/C20 (16 A) inlets on large servers, blade chassis and high-power UPS units.
- It does not fit laptop adapters with C5 (cloverleaf) or C7 (figure-8) inlets.
- At 0.5 m it will not reach a device more than about half a metre from the outlet.

Short IEC cables are the cheapest upgrade for a tidy rack: they cut the cable mass behind the equipment and make every device easy to trace back to its PDU outlet.
