Good Connections RNS 8060-020V — Cat 6 S/FTP Patch Cable, 2 m, Violet
Cat 6 S/FTP PiMF2 m250 MHzRNS latch guard
The Good Connections RNS 8060-020V is a 2 m violet Cat 6 S/FTP patch cable for Gigabit connections between patch panels, network switches, PCs and access points. Part number 8060-020V uses pairs in metal foil plus an overall braid, AWG 27 conductors in a 6.0 mm PVC jacket, gold-plated RJ45 plugs wired 1:1 to EIA/TIA-568B, and the RNS (Rastnasenschutz) boot that shields the latch from snagging.
Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Before you buy
The jacket is PVC, not halogen-free — for escape routes and public buildings choose an LSZH cord (Good Connections 8060-H series). Rated Cat 6, 250 MHz; for certified 10 Gbit links use Cat 6A. Good Connections does not publish the conductor material or a PoE class for this line.
Key Features
RNS Latch Guard
The Rastnasenschutz boot covers the RJ45 latch, so the cord slides through racks and cable trays without snapping the clip.
Full PiMF Screening
Pairs in metal foil plus an overall braid — solid EMI immunity next to power cables and in dense patch fields.
Violet Colour Coding
A distinctive violet jacket makes it easy to reserve a colour for a network segment, uplink or device class.

Singular Expert Insight
The RNS 8060 cords are a robust, shielded Cat 6 option for patch fields feeding network switches, and the latch guard is a real plus in busy racks. Where halogen-free cabling is required or 10 G is planned, the 8060-H (Cat 6A, LSZH) series from the same maker is the better fit.
