ALOGIC Elements EL2DPVGA-ADP — DisplayPort to VGA Adapter, 20 cm
DP male → VGA female1920 × 1200 @ 60 Hz20 cm pigtailDark grey
The ALOGIC Elements EL2DPVGA-ADP is a DisplayPort to VGA adapter: a full-size DisplayPort plug on a 20 cm cable, ending in a VGA socket. Plug it into the DisplayPort output of a PC, graphics card or docking station, connect your existing VGA cable, and an older monitor or projector with only a VGA input gets a picture again — up to 1920 × 1200 at 60 Hz, including Full HD 1080p, with a 4.95 Gbit/s data rate. The short pigtail keeps strain off the port and lets the adapter sit beside neighbouring connectors. It comes from ALOGIC’s Elements range in dark grey. Singular supports every order locally in Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
One direction only: ALOGIC states that the adapter cannot connect a VGA source to a DisplayPort display. A VGA cable is not included — you use the one from your monitor or projector. Full-size DisplayPort input: it does not fit Mini DisplayPort or USB-C laptops. No audio: VGA carries video only. Resolution tops out at 1920 × 1200. Tell us your PC and screen and we confirm the fit.
Best For
✓ New PCs driving older VGA monitors
✓ Meeting-room projectors with VGA inputs
✓ Graphics cards without VGA output
✓ Docking stations with DisplayPort
✓ Schools and training rooms
✓ Keeping legacy screens in service

DisplayPort to VGA
Converts a full-size DisplayPort output to a VGA socket for any standard VGA cable.
Up to 1920 × 1200 @ 60 Hz
ALOGIC supports up to WUXGA 1920 × 1200 at 60 Hz, including Full HD 1920 × 1080, at a 4.95 Gbit/s data rate.
20 cm pigtail
A short cable between plug and socket protects the port from the weight of a VGA cable and leaves room for neighbouring connectors.
Plug and play
No drivers or software: plug it in and the PC sees the VGA display.

Singular Expert Insight
We suggest the EL2DPVGA-ADP to keep a VGA monitor or projector working with a new PC or dock that only has DisplayPort. For screens above 1920 × 1200, a digital connection is the better choice. Browse our DisplayPort cables and converters and VGA cables for the other half of the connection.
