ALOGIC Elements USB-C to HDMI Cable — 2 m, 4K 60 Hz
HDMI 2.0 · 18 Gbps4K at 60 Hz or 1080p up to 240 HzHDR10, Dolby Vision, HLGLifetime ALOGIC warranty
The ALOGIC Elements USB-C to HDMI Cable (EL2UCHD-02) connects a laptop, tablet or phone with USB-C video output directly to an HDMI monitor, TV or projector — one 2 m cable, no adapter dongle in between. It is built to the HDMI 2.0 standard with 18 Gbps bandwidth, so it carries 4K (up to 4096 × 2160) at a smooth 60 Hz for work and video, or 1080p at up to 240 Hz for fast gaming displays. HDR10, Dolby Vision and HLG pass through when your laptop and screen support them, along with audio to the TV’s speakers. Latched connectors, a PVC jacket and ABS housings in dark grey keep it tidy on a desk or behind a TV, and ALOGIC backs the cable with a lifetime warranty for the original purchaser.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Your device’s USB-C port must output video — DisplayPort Alt Mode or Thunderbolt. Not every USB-C port does: charge-only and data-only ports will show no picture, so check for a DisplayPort or Thunderbolt symbol or send us your laptop model. The cable is one-way: USB-C source to HDMI display. It will not connect an HDMI device (games console, cable box) to a USB-C monitor, and it has no charging input, so your laptop runs on battery unless you use another port for power. In the box: the cable.

Key Features
4K at 60 Hz, 1080p up to 240 Hz
HDMI 2.0 and 18 Gbps bandwidth give 4K (up to 4096 × 2160) at 60 Hz — the refresh rate that makes scrolling and video smooth, where many cheap cables stop at 4K 30 Hz. On a Full HD gaming monitor it supports up to 240 Hz.
HDR and adaptive sync
HDR10, Dolby Vision and HLG are carried when your source and display support them, and ALOGIC lists adaptive sync (G-Sync / FreeSync compatible) and CEC among the supported HDMI features.
One cable, no dongle
A direct USB-C to HDMI cable removes the separate adapter and the extra connection that can work loose. The 2 m length reaches from a desk to a wall-mounted TV or a monitor on an arm.
Lifetime warranty
ALOGIC covers this cable for the lifetime of the original purchaser, with latched connectors and ABS housings built for repeated plugging.

Frequently Asked Questions
Does the EL2UCHD-02 work with a MacBook?
Yes. All USB-C and Thunderbolt ports on current MacBooks output video. Plug the USB-C end into the MacBook and the HDMI end into your monitor or TV for up to 4K at 60 Hz. On MacBooks with a built-in HDMI port you can of course use that instead.
Will it work with my phone?
Only if the phone outputs video over USB-C. Samsung Galaxy phones with DeX, iPhone 15 and later and many flagship Android phones do; many budget phones do not. Tell us the model and we check before you order.
Can I connect a PlayStation or cable box to a USB-C monitor with it?
No. The cable works in one direction only: from a USB-C source to an HDMI display. For HDMI-to-USB-C you need a dedicated active converter.
What do I need to know before buying?
Check that your USB-C port supports DisplayPort Alt Mode or Thunderbolt. The cable does not charge your laptop. It is 2 m long; ALOGIC also makes 1 m (EL2UCHD-01) and 3 m (EL2UCHD-03) versions.
Singular Expert Insight
A direct USB-C to HDMI cable is the cleanest way to connect a laptop to a single screen: fewer joints, no dongle to lose, and with HDMI 2.0 you get 4K at 60 Hz rather than the 30 Hz many older adapters are limited to. If you also need to charge the laptop, add Ethernet or run two monitors, a hub or dock is the better tool — see our
docking stations. Looking for the screen itself? Browse our
