equip 605897 Cat 6A S/FTP Angled-to-Straight Patch Cable — 0.5 m Black
Angled RJ45 plugCat 6A · 10 Gbps0.5 mPoE / PoE+
The equip 605897 is a 0.5 m Cat 6A S/FTP patch cable in black with one angled and one straight RJ45 plug, made for tight spaces where a straight plug and its boot would stick out or bend the cable sharply.
Part number 605897 is fully shielded (PiMF foil pairs plus braid), uses stranded bare-copper AWG 26/7, is rated to 500 MHz for 10 Gbps and carries PoE/PoE+. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Before you buy
Check the plug orientation before ordering: one end is an angled RJ45 plug, the other is straight. equip does not publish whether the angled plug points up, down, left or right — on a vertical port row the cable may exit in a different direction than you expect. For standard rack patching a straight-straight cord is simpler.
Key Features
Angled RJ45 plug
The angled end saves depth behind wall-mounted switches, TVs, NVRs and docking stations where there is no room for a straight plug and boot.
10 Gigabit Cat 6A
500 MHz bandwidth for 10GBASE-T, so the space-saving plug does not cost you speed.
S/FTP PiMF, LSZH
Foil-per-pair plus braid shielding, stranded AWG 26/7 bare copper, about 6 mm OD and a low-smoke zero-halogen jacket.

Singular Expert Insight
Angled plugs solve a real problem behind wall-mounted network switches, ceiling access points and media walls, where a straight plug forces a tight bend that stresses the cable. At 0.5 m the 605897 is ideal for short jumps inside a cabinet or wall box. The same cable exists in 2 m (605801 white / 605891 black) if you need more reach.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
You need to connect a port with little clearance behind it and still want 10 Gbps shielded Cat 6A.
Skip it if
You patch a standard rack with plenty of depth — a straight 0.5 m Cat 6A cord is simpler.
