AOC Q27G41ZDF — QD-OLED at 240 Hz, With Burn-In Covered by the Warranty

26.5-inch QD-OLED, QHD 2560x1440240 Hz with 0.03 ms GtG response99.1% DCI-P3, 98% Adobe RGB3-year warranty including burn-in cover

The AOC Q27G41ZDF is a 26.5-inch QD-OLED gaming monitor running QHD 2560x1440 at 240 Hz with a 0.03 ms grey-to-grey response — a genuine GtG figure, not an MPRT number, which is what a self-emissive panel makes possible. Because each pixel produces its own light there is no backlight to leak, giving a 1.5 million-to-one static contrast ratio and true blacks. Colour coverage is 99.1% DCI-P3 and 98% Adobe RGB, and the anti-reflection coating keeps a bright room from washing the picture out. AOC covers it for three years, and unusually for an OLED that cover includes burn-in.

Compatibility — check before buying:
The port list is deliberately minimal: one HDMI 2.0, one DisplayPort 1.4 and a headphone jack. There is no USB hub, no USB-C and no KVM — this is a display, not a dock. There are no speakers, so plan for headphones or desktop speakers. ???? The stand tilts only: −3° to +21.5°, with no swivel, no pivot and no height adjustment. If you need the screen raised, budget for a VESA 100 x 100 arm. AOC publishes HDR10 support but no VESA DisplayHDR certification for this model, so treat HDR as tone-mapping rather than a certified tier. The burn-in cover in the warranty is conditional on running the panel maintenance routines as AOC documents them — worth knowing before the machine sits on a static desktop all day.

Best For

✓ Competitive gaming where 240 Hz and near-instant response matter
✓ Anyone moving from LCD who wants true blacks and per-pixel contrast
✓ Colour work alongside gaming — 99.1% DCI-P3 and 98% Adobe RGB
✓ Bright rooms, thanks to the anti-reflection coating
✓ Desks already fitted with a monitor arm
✓ Buyers who want OLED with burn-in cover in writing

Key Features

0.03 ms, and it is a real GtG figure
Many monitors quote a sub-millisecond number that turns out to be MPRT with backlight strobing. AOC publishes 0.03 ms as grey-to-grey on this panel and lists no MPRT figure at all — the response is a property of the QD-OLED, not a mode you switch on.

Contrast an LCD cannot reach
1.5 million to one static contrast, because every pixel emits its own light and a black pixel is simply off. There is no backlight bleed, no halo around bright objects and no local dimming zones to give themselves away.

Colour wide enough for work
99.1% DCI-P3, 98% Adobe RGB and 147.6% sRGB coverage. That is professional-grade gamut on a monitor sold for gaming, which makes it a reasonable single screen for someone who does both.

Burn-in written into the warranty
AOC publishes a 3-year term that explicitly includes OLED burn-in, provided the documented screen maintenance is carried out. Very few OLED monitors put that in the warranty text.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is the 0.03 ms figure real, or is it MPRT?
It is real grey-to-grey. AOC labels it “Response time GtG” on the specification table and publishes no MPRT figure for this monitor at all. On an LCD a sub-millisecond claim is almost always MPRT with backlight strobing; on QD-OLED the pixel response genuinely is that fast.
Does it come with cables?
Yes, both video cables — a 1.8 m HDMI and a 1.8 m DisplayPort lead, plus the power cable. That is more generous than most monitors at this price, which usually include one or neither.
Can I raise the screen?
Not on the stand. This model tilts between −3° and +21.5° and does nothing else — no height adjustment, no swivel, no pivot. It takes a standard VESA 100 x 100 mount, so an arm or a height-adjustable stand solves it.
What about burn-in?
AOC includes burn-in within the 3-year warranty on this model, conditional on the documented panel maintenance being carried out. The monitor runs its own care routines; leave it powered so they can complete rather than pulling the plug at the wall every night.
Singular Expert Insight
Two things separate this from the QD-OLED monitors it sits beside. The first is the warranty: AOC putting burn-in inside a 3-year term is unusual and it is the single most common reason people hesitate over OLED. The second is what has been left out to reach the price — no USB hub, no speakers, and a tilt-only stand. If you already have a monitor arm and headphones, none of that matters and the panel is exceptional for the money. If you wanted one screen to dock a laptop and raise to eye level, this is not it, and our PC monitor range has models with USB-C and full ergonomic stands. Note also the naming: AOC sells a Q27G4ZD at 280 Hz alongside this 240 Hz Q27G41ZDF — check the full code before ordering. Monitor arms are in our monitor stand range.

Buyer’s Guide

Buy it if

You want QD-OLED contrast and 240 Hz with a genuine 0.03 ms GtG response, you already have an arm or are happy with tilt-only, and burn-in cover in writing matters to you.

Skip it if

You need a height-adjustable stand, built-in speakers, a USB hub or USB-C docking — this model has none of them.

Also consider

AOC Q27G4ZD if you want 280 Hz from the same QD-OLED family. A monitor arm, since the supplied stand only tilts. An AOC E-line model such as the Q32E4U if ergonomics and a USB hub matter more than OLED contrast.
