The APC AR8425A is a 1U horizontal cable organizer for 19-inch racks that routes patch cords and power cables sideways across the front or rear of the cabinet, for anyone tidying cabling between switches, patch panels and servers.
Fitted between two rows of patch panels or switch ports, it gives cords a defined path to the vertical cable managers at the sides of the rack, so ports stay accessible and airflow is not blocked by loose loops. It belongs to the APC NetShelter Cable Management range and installs with the supplied cage nuts and screws.
Before you order: Designed for 19-inch EIA racks with square-hole rails, including APC NetShelter SX and VX. For round-hole or threaded rails, tell us the rack model.

What It Means in Practice
- One unit between each patch panel and switch keeps short patch cords in order.
- Can be mounted on the front or rear rails.
- Only 76 mm deep, so it does not interfere with equipment behind it.
What Will Not Work
- Routes cables horizontally only — it does not pass cables from front to rear (APC offers 2U pass-through organizers for that).
- Not for 10-inch racks.
- Does not replace vertical cable managers at the rack sides.
