The APC AP8760 is a 3.0 m NetShelter power cord with a locking IEC C19 connector on one end and an IEC C20 plug on the other, for connecting high-current IT equipment — for example a rack PDU to a UPS, or a server with a C20 inlet to a PDU.
The C19 end has a locking receptacle that reduces the risk of accidental disconnection when cables are moved in a busy rack. APC states that the exclusive locking feature works with the APC AP8000 range of rack PDUs, while the cord fits any standard IEC C19/C20 receptacle as a normal cord. It is approved for use in multiple regions.
Before you order: Check your connectors: the C20 plug needs a C19 outlet (typical on UPS units of about 3 kVA and on PDUs), and the C19 end needs a C20 inlet. It will not fit C13/C14 or Schuko sockets. The lock only engages on APC AP8000-series PDUs.
