ARCTIC Summair 2Go — Rechargeable Handheld Fan, 5000 mAh, Black

5000 mAh, 4–77 h runtimeStepless 600–4300 RPMUSB-C rechargeableFold-out stand, 230 g

The ARCTIC Summair 2Go is a rechargeable handheld fan with a 5000 mAh lithium-ion battery — ARCTIC quotes a runtime of 4 to 77 hours depending on how fast you run it. Speed is stepless from 600 to 4300 RPM rather than a few fixed settings, so you can dial in exactly as much air as you want, and a fold-out stand in the handle turns it from a handheld fan into a desk fan with 0–260° of tilt. It charges over USB-C, and ARCTIC includes a 1.2 m USB-C to USB-A cable in the box. The 91 mm rotor sits in a body measuring 140 x 100 x 33 mm and weighing 230 g. Notably, ARCTIC publishes the battery as a replaceable 26650 cell rather than sealing it in. The part number is AEBRZ00027A. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.

Compatibility — check before buying:
This is a consumer handheld fan, not a PC cooling product — ARCTIC is best known for CPU coolers and case fans, and the Summair 2Go has nothing to do with those. It is battery powered, unlike the older Summair Light which was USB-powered only, and it is the only handheld model in the Summair range: the Summair and Summair Plus are folding table fans. Two things ARCTIC does not publish and which we therefore do not quote: an airflow figure in CFM or m³/h and a noise level in dB(A). It also does not publish a charging time, nor whether the fan can run while plugged in, and there is no IP or water-resistance rating. The 4–77 hour runtime is a range across the whole speed band, not a per-setting table.

Best For

✓ Cyprus summers away from air conditioning
✓ Commuting, waiting rooms and outdoor events
✓ A desk fan that packs into a bag afterwards
✓ Long days out where a small battery fan would die by noon
✓ Anyone who wants a fan whose battery can be replaced later
✓ Travel, where 230 g and 33 mm of thickness matter

Key Features

5000 mAh and up to 77 hours
The battery is a 3.7 V lithium-ion NMC cell rated at 5000 mAh, which is what produces ARCTIC’s quoted 4 to 77 hour runtime range — the high figure at low speed, the low figure flat out. It is a substantially bigger battery than the 2800 mAh in ARCTIC’s Summair Plus table fan.

Stepless speed, not three settings
Speed runs continuously from 600 to 4300 RPM rather than stepping through preset levels, so you can find the point where it moves enough air without being loud or draining the battery. The 4300 RPM top end is the highest in the Summair range.

Handheld or standing, with 260 degrees of tilt
A stand folds out of the ergonomic handle, with rubberised feet, so the fan sits on a desk or table when you do not want to hold it. The head adjusts through 0 to 260 degrees, which covers everything from pointing up at your face to angling down across a keyboard.

Replaceable battery and USB-C charging
ARCTIC publishes the cell specification — a 3.7 V 26650 cylindrical lithium-ion cell — so the battery can be replaced rather than the fan being disposable when it eventually wears out. Charging is over USB-C at 5 W (5 V, 1 A), with a red charging LED, a green full LED and a four-level capacity indicator.

Frequently Asked Questions

How long does the battery actually last?
ARCTIC quotes 4 to 77 hours, and both ends of that range are real: 77 hours is at the very bottom of the stepless speed band, 4 hours is at the full 4300 RPM. In practice most people run somewhere in between. ARCTIC does not publish a runtime figure for individual speeds, so we do not invent one. The 5000 mAh cell is large for a handheld fan — ARCTIC’s own Summair Plus table fan uses 2800 mAh.
Can I replace the battery when it wears out?
Yes, and this is unusual for a product in this class. ARCTIC publishes the cell specification in its manual — a 3.7 V 26650 cylindrical lithium-ion cell — rather than sealing the battery in and treating the fan as disposable. The battery is supplied pre-installed, and ARCTIC advises charging it fully before first use or after a long period unused.
Does it have fixed speed settings?
No. Speed is stepless from 600 to 4300 RPM, so instead of choosing between low, medium and high you turn it to exactly the point you want. That matters more than it sounds: on a battery product, being able to sit just above the airflow you need is what turns four hours of runtime into a great deal more.
Is this an ARCTIC PC cooling fan?
No. ARCTIC is best known for CPU coolers such as the Freezer series and case fans such as the P12 and F12, but the Summair range is a separate line of consumer fans for cooling people rather than components. The Summair 2Go will not fit a PC case and is not intended to.
Singular Expert Insight
Handheld fans are a crowded, mostly disposable category, and this one separates itself on two specifications that are easy to check: a 5000 mAh battery where most competitors use 2000 to 3000, and a battery that ARCTIC tells you how to replace. Add stepless speed control instead of three preset levels and a fold-out stand, and you have a fan that works as a desk fan at home and a handheld one on the way there. The gaps are worth stating plainly: ARCTIC publishes no airflow figure and no noise rating, which makes objective comparison against rivals impossible, and there is no water resistance rating. One independent review measured roughly 48 dB(A) at maximum speed, which is what you would expect from any fan spinning at 4300 RPM — run it lower and it is quiet. Browse our gadgets range, or our cooling products if it is a computer you need to keep cool rather than yourself.

Buyer’s Guide

Buy it if

You want a handheld fan that lasts a full day rather than an afternoon, with a 5000 mAh replaceable battery, stepless 600–4300 RPM control, USB-C charging and a fold-out stand, all at 230 g.

Skip it if

You need a published airflow or noise figure to compare against another fan, a water-resistant fan for the beach or pool, or a fan for a PC case. ARCTIC publishes neither figure and this is not a PC component.

Also consider

ARCTIC Summair Plus (AEBRZ00024A) if you want a folding table fan with a battery rather than a handheld one, or the Deep Blue and White versions of this same fan, AEBRZ00028A and AEBRZ00029A.
