ARCTIC Ratchet Screwdriver Toolkit — 1/4-inch Drive, 20 Nm, Aluminium Case
1/4-inch drive · 20 NmS2 steel and Steel 45 bits3-position ratchet8-bit magnetic magazine
The ARCTIC Ratchet Screwdriver Toolkit (AETLS00002A) is a 1/4-inch drive ratchet screwdriver rated to 20 Nm, supplied with a full bit set in an anodised aluminium sorting box, and ARCTIC positions it for PC building and electronic devices as well as everyday household and DIY work. The ratchet is set by a metal ring on the handle to turn clockwise, counter-clockwise or lock solid, so screws come in and out without resetting your grip. Eight bits ride in a push-out magazine in the handle itself, held by magnets, and the driver has a magnetic bit holder so screws stay put while you guide them. The whole kit is 158.5 × 58.5 × 36.5 mm and 446 g. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility — check before buying:
This is the 1/4-inch drive set, rated to 20 Nm — a chassis, desk and DIY kit. For phones, laptops, M.2 screws and other fine electronics work, ARCTIC’s Precision Screwdriver Toolkit (AETLS00001A) is the correct set, with a 4 mm drive and a different bit range; the two drive sizes are not interchangeable. Note that every Torx bit in this kit is a Security (tamper-proof) type — T9H, T10H, T15H, T20H and T30H: they fit both standard and pin-in-hole Torx screws, but there are no plain Torx bits. Only 8 bits fit in the handle magazine; the rest live in the box, so this is a desk kit rather than a pocket kit. ARCTIC publishes no total piece count and no formal box-contents checklist — the bit list below is taken from its own specification and manual.
Best For
✓ PC building and case assembly
✓ Motherboard, drive and cooler mounting screws
✓ General electronics and small appliance work
✓ Household repairs and DIY
✓ Workbench and toolbox use where a case matters
✓ Anyone tired of resetting grip on a fixed screwdriver
Key Features
Three-position ratchet
A metal ring on the handle sets the driver to tighten, loosen or fully locked. In ratchet mode the shaft turns freely one way and drives the other, so you never have to lift and reset the grip; in the locked position you get the full 20 Nm through a solid shaft.
Integrated 8-bit magazine with magnetic holder
A push-out magazine in the handle carries eight bits, held securely by magnets, so the bits you are actually using stay with the driver. The bit holder itself is magnetic, which ARCTIC says makes it easier to guide and fix screws.
S2 steel and Steel 45 bits, 1/4-inch drive
A full bit range in S2 steel and Steel 45 on a 1/4-inch drive, including Phillips, slotted, metric hex, Pozidriv, square, tri-angle and U-type, plus Security Torx. A magnetic pickup bit and a 1/4-inch to 4 mm extension rod are included.
Anodised aluminium sorting box
The whole kit lives in a robust anodised aluminium alloy box with space for every bit and the driver itself, plus an inner bit holder. The packed kit is 176 × 68 × 44 mm and about 0.5 kg.

| Manufacturer Term |
ARCTIC publishes no warranty period on this product’s specification page. Its general policy extends a six-year manufacturer’s warranty across its product range, excluding sound products and chargers, and toolkits are neither named nor excluded — so we report the gap rather than assert a figure. Singular’s direct warranty is 1 year; beyond that we assist you with the manufacturer’s warranty process for its full duration. |
Frequently Asked Questions
Is this the right ARCTIC set for building a PC?
Yes — ARCTIC lists PC construction first among its uses, and a 1/4-inch drive with 20 Nm covers case, motherboard, drive and cooler screws comfortably. For fine electronics work such as phones, laptops and M.2 screws, its Precision Screwdriver Toolkit (AETLS00001A) with a 4 mm drive is the better tool.
How does the ratchet work?
A metal ring on the handle selects one of three states: tighten, loosen, or locked. In either ratchet direction the shaft turns freely one way and drives the other, so you keep your grip through the whole turn. Locked gives you a solid shaft for the full 20 Nm.
Are the Torx bits standard or security?
All of them are Security (tamper-proof) Torx — T9H, T10H, T15H, T20H and T30H. A security Torx bit has a hole in the tip, so it fits both pin-in-hole security screws and ordinary Torx screws. There are no plain Torx bits in this kit.
What do I need to know before buying the AETLS00002A?
Four things. It is a 1/4-inch drive kit, so it is not the right tool for phone or laptop internals. All the Torx are Security types. Only 8 bits ride in the handle — the rest stay in the aluminium box, which packs to about half a kilo. And ARCTIC publishes no total piece count and no warranty figure on this product’s own page.
Singular Expert Insight
What makes this kit worth having on a PC bench rather than a generic driver set is the ratchet and the magazine working together: eight bits live in the handle, so the ones you actually use on a build — PH2 for case and motherboard screws above all — are always in your hand, and the ratchet means you never break grip while running a long standoff or a radiator screw home. Two details worth knowing before you order. Every Torx here is a
Security type with a hole in the tip; that is more capable than plain Torx, not less, but it is not what most listings say. And the
drive size decides which ARCTIC kit you want: this is the 1/4-inch, 20 Nm chassis kit, while the Precision Screwdriver Toolkit is a 4 mm drive for electronics, and the two share nothing. We have also left two rows deliberately blank. ARCTIC publishes
no total piece count for this set and
no warranty figure on its product page — its blanket six-year policy covers the “entire product range” but names cooling, mounts and workstation products, so we report what it says rather than assert a number. If you are assembling a machine with it, our
CPU coolers and
power supplies pages cover the parts it will be going into.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You build or service PCs and want a ratchet driver with the bits that matter living in the handle, a 1/4-inch drive rated to 20 Nm for case and cooler work, and a proper anodised aluminium box that keeps the set together on a bench.
Skip it if
Your work is phones, laptops or other fine electronics — the 4 mm Precision Screwdriver Toolkit is the correct ARCTIC set for that. Skip it too if you need plain Torx bits rather than Security types, or if you want a pocket-sized kit: this one packs to roughly half a kilo.
