The Argus AS-9108HA (Inter-Tech article 88887300) is an 8-port HDMI KVM switch in a 19" 1U rackmount steel chassis that lets one HDMI monitor and a USB keyboard and mouse control eight computers or servers at up to 1920 x 1200. Eight 1.8 m USB/HDMI KVM cables and the 19" bracket are included.
Ports are selected with eight hotkeys or the OSD menu, auto-scan runs from 1 to 255 seconds, and password protection locks the console. Two-level cascading scales the system up to 256 PCs.
Compatibility note: This is a 1U rack unit (432 mm wide) for 19" cabinets, not a desktop switch. HDMI output is limited to Full HD/WUXGA (max 75 Hz), so 4K sources will be shown at 1080p/1200p at most.
Key Features
Eight HDMI servers per 1U
Consolidates eight HDMI-equipped PCs or servers onto one rack console in a rust-resistant steel chassis.
Cables in the box
Eight 1.8 m USB/HDMI KVM cables are supplied, so there is no separate cable purchase for a standard rack.
OSD, hotkeys, password
On-screen port menu, hotkey switching, adjustable auto-scan and password protection for keyboard and monitor.

Singular Expert Insight
The AS-9108HA is one of the most complete-in-the-box 8-port rack KVMs we carry: cables, bracket, OSD and cascading are all included. Its limit is resolution, so it fits server racks rather than 4K workstations. Browse the full KVM switches category for 4K models.
✓ Buy it if you want an 8-port HDMI rack KVM with cables included and a Full HD console monitor.
✕ Skip it if you need 4K resolution or dual-monitor output.
→ Also consider the Digitus DS-12910 (8-port HDMI, 4K 30 Hz, cables not included) or the Argus AS-9104DA (4-port DVI).
