Compatibility — check before buying:
Check the model number before ordering — the digit is the plug. In this family the IT-3xx models have a USB-A plug and the IT-4xx models have a USB-C plug, and the -S suffix only means silver. This unit is the IT-310: a USB-A plug in black. Ordering the wrong digit means a connector that physically will not fit your machine. The network port is wired Gigabit, not Wi-Fi, so a live socket or a switch is needed at the desk.
