The Argus ST-729 (Inter-Tech item 77773003) is a PCI Express 2.1 x1 network card with one 10/100/1000 Mbps RJ45 port, built on the Intel i210 Gigabit controller. It targets business desktops, small servers and workstations where IT teams prefer Intel network chips for their driver stability and management features.
Inter-Tech lists PXE network boot, Boot-ROM support, Wake-on-LAN, Wired for Management 2.0, IEEE 802.3az Energy Efficient Ethernet and Audio Video Bridging (AVB). That makes it suitable for network-based OS deployment, remote power management and low-latency audio/video networks.
