The ASRock B550M-P (part number 90-MXBV10-A0UAYZ) is an AMD B550 Micro ATX motherboard for Socket AM4 Ryzen 3000, 4000 G-Series, 5000 and 5000 G-Series desktop processors. It is a cost-effective way to build or refresh a DDR4 PC: a PCIe 4.0 x16 slot and a Gen4 x4 M.2 socket come from the CPU, four SATA ports cover existing drives, and a Realtek Dragon 2.5GbE port replaces the usual Gigabit LAN. HDMI 2.1 and DisplayPort 1.4 outputs serve Ryzen APUs with integrated Radeon graphics.
Compatibility Note: This is an AM4 / DDR4 board: it does not accept AM5 Ryzen 7000/8000/9000 CPUs or DDR5 memory. PCIe 4.0 on the x16 slot and M.2 requires a Ryzen 5000 or 3000 CPU; Ryzen 4000G/5000G APUs run at PCIe 3.0. The 12V CPU input is a single 4-pin connector, and NVMe is not supported with the Athlon 3000G.
