The ASRock NUC BOX-358H (part number 90PXGEP0-P0EAY100) is a barebone mini PC from ASRock Industrial built around the Intel Core Ultra X7 358H processor (Core Ultra Series 3, Panther Lake-H, 16 cores: 4P + 8E + 4LPE). It ships without memory, storage or operating system, so you add two DDR5 SO-DIMMs (up to 128GB), an M.2 NVMe SSD and Windows or Linux to suit the role. The 16-core X7 358H with Intel Graphics suits demanding edge, AI-assisted and multi-display workloads, with two Intel 2.5GbE ports (I226LM + I226V), Wi-Fi 7 and four display outputs. The 117.5 x 110 x 49 mm chassis mounts behind a monitor using the included VESA bracket.
Compatibility Note: Barebone: RAM, SSD and operating system are not included. Use DDR5 SO-DIMM (laptop-type, 262-pin) memory and M.2 Key M NVMe SSDs (Gen5 2242/2280 + Gen4 2242). For Thunderbolt device support, check ASRock Industrial's support list.

Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to add to the NUC BOX-358H?
Two DDR5 SO-DIMM modules (262-pin, up to 64GB each, 128GB total), at least one M.2 Key M NVMe SSD and an operating system. The power adapter and VESA bracket are included.
What is the difference between NUC BOX and NUCS BOX?
The NUCS BOX is the slim 38 mm version with one 2.5GbE port and two front USB-A ports; the NUC BOX is 49 mm tall with two 2.5GbE ports (I226LM + I226V) and one front USB-A port. Both use the same processor options.
Can it run four monitors?
Yes. Use the two HDMI 2.1 outputs plus DisplayPort over the USB4 port and the USB 3.2 Gen2x2 Type-C port for up to four displays.
Is it suitable for 24/7 or AT power-on use?
It supports AT mode (powers on as soon as DC power is applied) and has a watchdog timer, which suit kiosks and signage. The operating temperature range is 0-40 °C, so ensure ventilation in enclosed installations.
Singular Expert Insight
The NUC BOX-358H makes sense when you need real multi-core performance in a VESA-mountable box: the 16-core X7 358H handles heavy multitasking, development and edge inference while driving four displays. For standard office or signage duties, the Core Ultra 5 325 version costs less and runs cooler.
✓ Buy it if you need a compact, VESA-mountable PC with 16 cores, Gen5 storage and four display outputs.
✕ Skip it if you need a discrete graphics card or a ready-to-use PC with Windows preinstalled.
→ Also consider ASRock NUC BOX-325 for lighter workloads, or the NUCS BOX-358H for a slimmer 38 mm chassis.
