Frequently Asked Questions

Does the ASRock DeskMeet X600 include a CPU, RAM or storage?
No. It is a barebone system with the chassis, motherboard and 500W power supply included. A compatible AM5 CPU, DDR5 RAM, storage, CPU cooler and operating system must be added.
Can I install a dedicated graphics card?
Yes. It supports a discrete graphics card up to 20cm long through its PCIe 4.0 x16 slot. Verify the exact card thickness, length and power requirements before purchase.
Can I use a PCIe Gen5 SSD?
Yes. The primary M.2 2280 socket supports PCIe Gen5 x4 storage, although a Raphael-based processor is required to achieve PCIe Gen5 x4 speed.
Singular Expert Insight
Choose the DeskMeet X600 when you want modern AM5 performance, four desktop DDR5 slots and discrete graphics expansion without moving to a full-size tower. It is a meaningful upgrade over the X300 for new builds thanks to DDR5, PCIe Gen5 storage and 2.5GbE, while a smaller DeskMini is preferable when graphics card support is unnecessary.

Buyer's Guide

Buy it if

  • You want a compact AMD AM5 desktop
  • You need DDR5 capacity and four storage devices
  • A short discrete graphics card is required

Skip it if

  • Your graphics card is longer than 20cm
  • You need a complete ready-to-use computer
  • You want the smallest possible Mini PC

Also consider

  • DeskMeet X300 when reusing AM4 and DDR4
  • A DeskMini X600 if no graphics card is needed
  • A larger AM5 case for full-size graphics cards
