The DIGITUS AK-300136-010-S is a 1-metre cable with a USB-C plug at one end and a USB-A plug at the other, running SuperSpeed USB at up to 5 Gbit/s so an external SSD, card reader or phone connects to a standard USB-A port at full speed. Part number AK-300136-010-S combines AWG 24 power conductors with AWG 28 data pairs, double shielding and copper throughout, and supports charging current up to 3 A.
Good to know: A USB-A source cannot negotiate USB-C Power Delivery, so charging is limited to the 3 A the port can supply and there is no DisplayPort Alt Mode video. For laptop charging or an external screen, use a USB-C to USB-C cable instead.
