The DIGITUS DN-19 BPN-02-SW is a 2U blank cover for 482.6 mm (19") network and server cabinets, made of robust sheet steel in black RAL 9005. It closes two empty rack units so the front of the cabinet looks finished and cooling air is forced through the equipment instead of around it.
Blank panels matter more than they look: an open gap lets hot exhaust air from the back of the rack recirculate to the front, and switches and servers then draw in warmer air. Closing unused units is the cheapest airflow improvement in any rack.
The panel fits standard 19" profile rails (IEC 60297) and comes with an installation set of screws, cage nuts and washers, so it can be fitted straight away.
