The DIGITUS DN-9008-1 is a shielded Cat 6A Class EA network socket with two RJ45 ports for flush mounting, with horizontal cable entry. It runs up to 500 MHz for 10GBase-T, carries PoE and PoE+ (IEEE 802.3af/at), and terminates on colour-coded LSA strips for 22–26 AWG solid or stranded conductors, wired to EIA/TIA 568 A or B. The fully enclosing die-cast metal housing keeps the shield continuous, the ports sit at 40°, and the 50 × 50 mm central plate with 80 × 80 mm frame is design-compatible with common switch ranges. In practice it is a 10G-ready wall point that matches the switches and sockets around it.

Compatibility — check before buying:
Horizontal cable entry — the cable arrives from the side. If your cable comes from above or below, the DN-9007-1 (vertical entry) is the better fit. It is a flush-mount socket; for surface mounting choose DN-9007-S-1. Termination is on LSA strips with a punch-down (LSA) tool; the tool and the installation cable are not included.
