The DIGITUS DN-19 EARTH is a 220 mm copper potential equalisation bar with six connection points, supplied with four 40 cm earthing leads and M6 mounting material, for bonding the doors, side panels and installed components of a 19" cabinet to a common earth point. DIGITUS lists it as suitable for all DIGITUS 19" cabinets.
Bonding every metal part of a cabinet to the same potential reduces touch-voltage risk and electrical noise on network equipment. The bar gives you one tidy collection point inside the cabinet, from which a single conductor runs to the building's earthing system.
Before you order: The connection from the bar to the building earth (main earthing terminal) is not included and must be installed by a qualified electrician according to local regulations.
