The ASSMANN AK-430405-003-M is a 0.3 m internal Y cable that splits one SATA 15-pin power power lead from the PC power supply into two, so a single lead can feed two SATA hard drives, SSDs and optical drives.
ASSMANN uses AWG 18 copper wire with black connectors; note that this is a Y splitter with two outputs, not a 1:1 extension as some distributor listings describe it.
Before you order: A splitter shares the current of one power-supply lead between two devices. Use it for low-power devices, not to run several high-draw drives or accessories from one lead.
