ASUS PRIME B760M-F WIFI
A future-proof micro-ATX B760 board for 12/13/14th Gen Intel builds — PCIe 5.0 x16, DDR5 up to 8000MHz OC, dual M.2 PCIe 4.0 and Wi-Fi 6 in a clean PRIME layout.
LGA1700 · 12/13/14th GenDDR5 8000MHz OCPCIe 5.0 x16Wi-Fi 6
The ASUS PRIME B760M-F WIFI is a future-ready micro-ATX motherboard for Intel’s LGA1700 platform, supporting 12th, 13th and 14th Gen Core processors. Where most B760 boards stop at PCIe 4.0, the B760M-F WIFI wires the main GPU slot at PCIe 5.0 x16 — ready for next-generation graphics cards as they arrive. It pairs that with two DDR5 DIMM slots up to 96GB at 8000MHz with XMP overclocking, two M.2 slots both at PCIe 4.0 x4, four SATA III ports, Wi-Fi 6 with Bluetooth 5.3, DisplayPort plus HDMI 2.1 outputs and ASUS’ 5X Protection III hardware safeguards. Two-Way AI Noise Cancelation handles call quality without extra software. Note: rear panel is USB Type-A only (no Type-C); networking is 1Gb Ethernet, not 2.5G.
Compatibility Note: LGA1700 socket only (Intel 12th/13th/14th Gen Core). DDR5 memory only — DDR4 modules are not compatible. The B760 chipset does not support CPU overclocking. Realtek 1Gb LAN (no 2.5G); rear USB ports are Type-A only (no rear Type-C). HDMI/DisplayPort output requires a CPU with integrated graphics. Please confirm CPU and case (micro-ATX) compatibility before purchase.

Frequently Asked Questions
Will it work with a 14th Gen Intel Core CPU like the i5-14600K?
Yes. The B760M-F WIFI supports 12th, 13th and 14th Gen Intel Core processors on LGA1700. A BIOS update may be required for the latest CPUs — check the ASUS CPU support list before installation.
Does the PCIe 5.0 x16 slot make a real difference today?
Current GPUs do not saturate PCIe 4.0 x16, so the immediate gain is limited. The benefit is future-proofing — this slot is ready for the next generation of graphics cards without changing the motherboard. Note that the M.2 slots remain at PCIe 4.0.
Can I overclock the CPU on this board?
No — the B760 chipset does not support CPU overclocking (you need a Z690 or Z790 board). Memory XMP overclocking up to 8000MHz is supported.
Does it have USB Type-C on the rear panel?
No. The rear I/O is USB Type-A only (4 x USB 3.2 Gen 1 + 2 x USB 2.0). For rear USB Type-C consider stepping up to the PRIME B760M-A WIFI (USB 3.2 Gen 2 rear) or a B760 model with USB-C rear support.
Singular Expert Insight
Choose the B760M-F WIFI if you are building a 12/13/14th Gen Intel system in a micro-ATX case and want a PCIe 5.0 GPU slot for future-proofing, plus DDR5 with serious memory overclocking headroom. If you need 2.5G LAN, USB-C on the rear, dual HDMI for triple display, or a stronger Wi-Fi 6 antenna setup, step up to the PRIME B760M-A WIFI. If you want the same B760 layout without Wi-Fi (cheaper), the PRIME B760M-F is the matching non-WiFi version. For LGA1851 (Core Ultra Series 2), this board will not work — pick a B860 or H810 board instead.
