ASUS MW202 Silent Wireless Mouse — Rose Gold
Silent: around 20 dB2.4 GHz receiver4 DPI levels, up to 4000Right-handed, 1× AA, 80 g
The ASUS MW202 in Rose Gold (90XB066N-BMU010) is a right-handed office mouse with silent switches that ASUS rates at around 20 dB, connected through a 2.4 GHz USB nano receiver with a 10 m range. ASUS publishes an optical sensor with four DPI levels up to 4000, a rubber thumb rest, six buttons including forward and back, and one AA battery in the box. It is the quiet, coloured desk mouse in ASUS’s range — sold in Rose Gold, Night Blue and Golden.
Compatibility — check before buying:
2.4 GHz receiver only — no Bluetooth; the receiver is USB-A, so USB-C-only laptops need an adapter. Right-handed shape with a thumb rest. ASUS lists Windows 10/11 and ChromeOS. ASUS’s own pages disagree on the exact DPI ladder (800/1200/2000/4000 on the specification table vs 1000/1600/2400/4000 in the overview) — count on four levels with a 4000 maximum. ASUS publishes no battery-life figure for the MW202 (only that it lasts 30% longer than the WT425). Not the MW203, which adds Bluetooth and multi-device switching.

✓ Quiet offices and shared rooms
✓ Right-handed users who want a thumb rest
✓ Colour-matching a Vivobook or Zenbook
✓ Large monitors thanks to 4000 DPI
✓ AA power instead of charging
✓ Desktops and docks with a USB-A port

Singular Expert Insight
The MW202 is the quiet, coloured desk mouse in our wireless mice — a step up from the ASUS WT425 in DPI and silence, without the Bluetooth of the MD102 or MD105. Pick it for a USB-A desktop or docked laptop where clicks must not be heard; pick the MD102 if you also need Bluetooth. A docking stations supplies the USB-A port on a USB-C laptop.
