ASUS Prime MR120 ARGB Black 120mm PWM Case Fan
A black 120mm ARGB PWM fan for PC builders who want balanced cooling, low noise and vivid dual-sided lighting.
120mm PWM28mm Frame58 CFMAura Sync ARGB
The ASUS Prime MR120 ARGB Black is a single-pack 120mm PWM case fan designed for desktop PC airflow and ARGB lighting upgrades. It uses an extra-thick 28mm frame, delivers up to 58 CFM airflow and 1.7 mmH2O static pressure, and keeps noise at up to 21 dB(A), making it a balanced choice for gaming PCs, workstation builds and clean black component layouts.
Compatibility Note: Please confirm that your case or radiator supports 120mm fans with 28mm thickness, and that your motherboard or controller supports 4-pin PWM fan control and compatible 3-pin 5V ARGB lighting. Do not connect 5V ARGB devices to 12V RGB headers.
Best For
✓ Black gaming PC builds
✓ Case airflow upgrades
✓ Aura Sync ARGB setups
✓ Balanced cooling and acoustics
Key Features
28mm Frame Cooling
The extra-thick 28mm frame helps the Prime MR120 ARGB deliver reliable airflow and static pressure while keeping the fan suitable for standard 120mm fan positions that support the added thickness.
Balanced Airflow and Noise
With up to 58 CFM airflow, 1.7 mmH2O static pressure and up to 21 dB(A) noise, this fan is built for everyday cooling with controlled acoustics.
Dual-Sided ARGB Lighting
20 addressable RGB LEDs and dual-sided frame lighting help illuminate the system cleanly, especially when multiple fans are installed side by side.
PWM and Aura Sync Support
PWM speed control supports fan speeds up to 1600 rpm, while Aura Sync compatibility allows coordinated lighting with supported ASUS and ARGB hardware.

Singular Expert Insight
Choose the ASUS Prime MR120 ARGB Black if you want a balanced standard-blade fan with strong 58 CFM airflow, low 21 dB(A) noise and vivid ARGB frame lighting. If you need cleaner intake-side aesthetics, choose a reverse-blade version; if you need higher pressure for demanding radiator use, compare with the TUF Gaming TR120 ARGB series.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You need a black 120mm standard-blade ARGB PWM fan with a 28mm frame, 58 CFM airflow, low noise and Aura Sync lighting.
Skip it if
You need a white fan, a reverse-blade fan, a triple-pack, a controller bundle or higher static pressure for dense radiator cooling.
Also consider
Consider the Prime MR120 ARGB Reverse version for cleaner intake visuals, or the TUF Gaming TR120 ARGB series for stronger pressure-focused cooling.
