ASUS ROG Polling Rate Booster — White, True 8000 Hz
8000 Hz4000 Hz wirelessROG onlyArmoury Crate
A polling rate is how often the mouse tells the computer where it is. Most wireless mice report 1000 times a second; the ROG Polling Rate Booster raises that to a true 8000 Hz wireless polling rate for the ROG devices that support it. ASUS is precise about the two modes: up to 4000 Hz in wireless and up to 8000 Hz in wired mode. It works three ways — with the wireless receiver attached, with the paracord cable, or with the receiver plus the extender. Firmware is handled through Armoury Crate Gear or Armoury Crate. This is the white version.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Read the compatibility list before ordering, because this only works with specific ROG hardware. ASUS lists the mice as ROG Harpe Ace Mini, ROG Harpe Ace Extreme, ROG Keris II Ace, ROG Harpe Ace Aim Lab Edition, ROG Strix Impact III Wireless and ROG Keris Wireless AimPoint, and the keyboards as ROG Azoth Extreme, ROG Azoth, ROG Strix Scope II 96 RX Wireless, ROG Strix Scope II 96 Wireless and ROG Falchion RX Low-Profile. Anything not on that list will not benefit. Placement matters too: ASUS specifies the booster should be within a 60 cm range of the device, with minimal to no obstructions — behind a monitor or inside a desk cabinet will cost you the very thing you bought it for. Two honest limits ASUS publishes: Windows 11 (specifically Windows 11 Moment 3, KB5027303) is required, and some older game titles may not be capable of supporting higher polling rates. ASUS publishes no dimensions and no weight for the booster.
Best For
✓ ROG Harpe Ace and Keris II Ace owners
✓ Competitive FPS at high frame rates
✓ Anyone chasing the lowest possible input latency
✓ Desks where the receiver can sit within 60 cm
✓ Windows 11 machines
✓ ROG Azoth and Strix Scope II keyboard owners
Key Features
True 8000 Hz, not interpolated
ASUS specifies a true 8000 Hz wireless polling rate rather than a figure achieved by smoothing — eight reports per millisecond.
Three ways to connect
Wireless receiver, paracord cable, or receiver plus extender, so it fits the desk you already have rather than dictating one.
Keyboards too, not just mice
The supported list covers ROG Azoth, Azoth Extreme, Strix Scope II 96 and Falchion RX as well as the mice.
Firmware through Armoury Crate
Updates come through the software you already run for ROG gear, rather than a separate utility to find and install.

Singular Expert Insight
This is a specialist part: it does one thing, only for listed ROG hardware, and only on Windows 11. If your mouse is on the list and you play competitively, the 60 cm placement rule is the detail that decides whether you get what you paid for. See our keyboard accessories and our wireless mice.
Buyer’s Guide
Buy it if
You own a supported ROG mouse or keyboard, play competitively on Windows 11, and want the lowest input latency available.
Skip it if
Your device is not on the ASUS list, you are not on Windows 11, or the receiver cannot sit within 60 cm of the mouse.
Also consider
The other Polling Rate Booster colour, or a supported ROG mouse if you are building the setup from scratch.
