ASUS ROG Strix 1200W Platinum ATX 3.1 Power Supply
1200W80 Plus PlatinumATX 3.1 / 12V-2x6GaN MOSFET
The ASUS ROG Strix 1200W Platinum is a fully modular ATX 3.1 power supply with 80 Plus Platinum efficiency, built for extreme high-end gaming PCs and workstations running PCIe 5.1 graphics cards. It carries part number 90YE00W1-B0NA00 (EAN 4711387594384) and includes a native 12V-2x6 cable that powers current-generation GPUs directly. Advanced GaN MOSFETs and a GPU-FIRST intelligent voltage stabilizer improve efficiency and voltage delivery to the graphics card, while an aluminium ROG-heatsink chassis, dual-ball-bearing fan with 0dB technology and a Cybenetics A noise rating keep it cool and quiet. Backed by a 10-year warranty. Typically in stock with fast delivery across Cyprus.
Compatibility & installation
Complies with Intel ATX 3.1 and PCIe 5.1. It includes a native 16-pin 12V-2x6 (Gen 5.1) cable — seat it fully until it clicks, as this connector must be completely engaged to avoid heat build-up — plus four 8-pin-to-6+2 PCIe cables for older cards. Two CPU 4+4 cables cover modern motherboards. Fits any case taking a standard ATX PSU of 160 mm depth (160 × 150 × 86 mm). Use only the ASUS-supplied modular cables — third-party cables can differ in pin configuration and damage your hardware even if the connector physically fits.
Best For
✓Extreme high-end gaming PCs with PCIe 5.1 GPUs
✓Overclocked rigs needing 1200W headroom
✓Efficiency seekers — 80 Plus Platinum + GaN MOSFET
✓Quiet builds — 0dB fan + Cybenetics A noise
✓Clean wiring — fully modular cabling
✓Long-term reliability seekers (>120K MTBF, 10-year warranty)
Key Features
ATX 3.1 & Native 12V-2x6
Ships with a native 12V-2x6 (Gen 5.1) cable for PCIe 5.1 GPUs plus four 8-pin-to-6+2 PCIe cables — powering current-generation cards with no adapter.
GaN MOSFET Efficiency
Advanced GaN MOSFET technology improves efficiency and, with GPU-FIRST intelligent voltage sensing, enhances voltage delivery to the graphics card for rock-solid stability.
80 Plus Platinum
Platinum-class efficiency converts more wall power into usable output with less waste heat, lower running costs and a cooler system.
0dB Fan + ROG Cooling
A dual-ball-bearing fan with a 0dB button stays silent under lighter loads, cooled by an aluminium ROG-heatsink chassis for a Cybenetics A noise rating.

Singular Expert Insight
The ROG Strix 1200W Platinum sits near the top of ASUS's consumer PSU range: Platinum efficiency, GaN MOSFETs, the newer ATX 3.1 / native 12V-2x6 connector and a GPU-FIRST voltage stabilizer make it a no-compromise choice for extreme single-GPU rigs and overclocked builds. Most single-GPU systems will never load 1200W, so if you want to save money the ROG Strix 1000W (or a quality 850–1000W Gold unit such as the Corsair RM1000e) is plenty; step up here when you want maximum headroom and the Platinum/GaN feature set. Browse the full range of PC power supplies to compare wattages and efficiency tiers.
Buyer's Guide
Buy it if
You want a top-tier 1200W ATX 3.1 PSU with Platinum efficiency, GaN MOSFETs, a native 12V-2x6 cable and a 10-year warranty.
Skip it if
You have a single-GPU build that draws under ~750W — 1200W is more than you need; a 850–1000W unit costs less.
Also consider
