ASUS TUF Gaming 1000W Gold EVO — ATX 3.1 / PCIe 5.1 power supply with native 12V-2x6
1000W · 80 PLUS GoldATX 3.1 · PCIe 5.1Native 12V-2x68-year warranty
The ASUS TUF Gaming 1000W Gold EVO is a 1000-watt ATX 3.1 power supply with 80 PLUS Gold efficiency and a native 16-pin 12V-2x6 connector, built for gaming PCs and workstations with current high-end graphics cards such as the GeForce RTX 50 and Radeon RX 9000 series.
It is rated Cybenetics Platinum at 230V, uses TUF-grade capacitors and a conformal-coated PCB for durability, and ships with a full set of separate cables, including a 16-pin to 16-pin GPU cable so no adapter is needed.
Before you order: Check your case: the unit is 150 mm deep (ATX). Use only the cables supplied with this PSU — modular cables from other power supplies are not interchangeable.
What's in the Box
- ASUS TUF Gaming 1000W Gold EVO power supply
- Power cord
- 24-pin motherboard cable (610 mm), 2x CPU 4+4-pin cables (750 mm)
- 1x 16-pin 12V-2x6 GPU cable (500 mm), 3x 8-pin to 6+2-pin PCIe cables (500 mm)
- 2x SATA cables (1-to-3), 1x peripheral cable (1-to-3)
- 3x TUF cable ties, chassis screws, user manual
What It Means in Practice
- 1000W gives comfortable headroom for a high-end GPU plus a fast CPU, so the PSU runs well below its limit and stays quieter.
- The native 12V-2x6 cable connects directly to RTX 40/50 series cards without a 4-way adapter.
- ATX 3.1 compliance means it is designed to handle the short power spikes of modern graphics cards.
- Six SATA connectors cover a typical number of drives and accessories.
What Will Not Work
- There is no 0dB (fan-stop) mode — the 135 mm fan always spins.
- There is no ARGB/Aura Sync lighting.
- Cables from other PSUs (even other ASUS models) must not be used.
- SFX/small form factor cases will not fit a standard 150 x 150 x 86 mm ATX unit.

Singular Expert Insight · Buyer's Guide
The TUF Gaming 1000W Gold EVO is a solid, long-warranty choice for a high-end gaming or creator PC, especially with a GPU that uses the 16-pin connector. If your system draws well under 600W, an 850W unit is usually enough. Compare more PC power supplies.
✓ Buy it if you are building or upgrading a PC with a modern high-end graphics card and want a native 12V-2x6 cable and a long warranty.
✕ Skip it if you need a silent fan-stop mode, RGB lighting or an SFX-size unit.
→ Also consider an 850W ATX 3.1 unit for mid-range builds.
