The ASUS USB-BE93 Mini is a tiny tri-band Wi-Fi 7 USB adapter with a USB-C plug and a BE6500 rating, made for laptops and desktops that need to join a Wi-Fi 7 or Wi-Fi 6E network without opening the case.
It connects on 2.4GHz, 5GHz and 6GHz, weighs just 7 grams and installs plug-and-play on Windows 11 and Windows 10 64-bit. Full Wi-Fi 7 features require Windows 11 version 24H2 or later.
Before you order: Windows 11 and Windows 10 (64-bit) only — macOS and Linux are not listed by ASUS. Full Wi-Fi 7 functions need Windows 11 24H2 or later, and you need a free USB-C port.

What It Means in Practice
- On a Wi-Fi 7 router, the 6GHz band gives the cleanest, least congested connection — ideal for gaming and large downloads close to the router.
- On 2.4GHz the adapter runs in USB 2.0 mode (ASUS note), so for top speed use the 5GHz or 6GHz band.
- The flush design can stay plugged into a laptop in a bag.
- It is a quick upgrade for desktops whose motherboard has no Wi-Fi, if there is a USB-C port.
What Will Not Work
- It does not work with macOS or Linux (not supported by ASUS).
- Older Windows 11 builds and Windows 10 do not get full Wi-Fi 7 features; 6GHz needs Windows 11.
- A USB-A-only PC needs a USB-C adapter, which is not included.
- It cannot reach Wi-Fi 7 speed if your router is Wi-Fi 6 or older.
