AXIS Audio Extension Cable B — 5 m, 3.5 mm
5 m3.5 mmAXIS microphonesReplaces Cable A
The AXIS Audio Extension Cable B (part number 01589-001) is a 5 m extension cable with 3.5 mm connectors for selected AXIS microphones. It lets you place the microphone away from the camera or speaker it connects to — for example above a counter while the camera sits higher on the wall. AXIS lists it for the T8351 Mk II, T8353A, TU1001-V, TU1001-VE and TU1002-VE microphones, and for selected box, PTZ, thermal cameras and network speakers. It replaces the earlier Audio Extension Cable A.
Compatibility — check before buying:
For AXIS microphones with 3.5 mm connection: T8351 Mk II, T8353A, TU1001-V, TU1001-VE, TU1002-VE. The microphone is not included. AXIS does not publish colour, material or outdoor rating for the cable itself — route it indoors or in conduit. Not sure? Tell us your model and we check it for you.

Singular Expert Insight
Good audio starts with microphone placement: close to the speaker, away from fans and doors. This cable gives you the 5 m to do that. For cameras with audio input, see our IP cameras.
