The AXIS Bird Control Spike (part number 5801-121) is a pack of ten pre-assembled, UV-resistant and flexible spikes that stop birds from landing on outdoor cameras, housings and mounts. Birds perching on a camera leave droppings on the housing, shake the image when they land and can block the view. The spikes are a humane way to prevent this, which also reduces cleaning visits.
Compatibility — check before buying:
AXIS lists the spikes for more than 90 AXIS outdoor cameras, housings and mounts. They attach with adhesive tape or cable ties, and the spikes click together sideways and lengthwise, so you can build a strip to suit the top of the housing. One pack protects only the surface it covers — larger housings may need more than one pack. Tell us the exact model you have and we check compatibility before you order.
