The AXIS T91B53 Telescopic Ceiling Mount (part number 01189-001) lowers a camera from a high ceiling to the level where it can see what matters, below lights, ducts and signage. AXIS sells this part number as a pack of 2 mounts. Each mount is powder-coated aluminium, extends from 1 to 1.8 m in 10 cm steps, carries up to 1.6 kg and is rated IK08. The camera does not attach directly: the bottom has a 3/4″ NPS thread for an AXIS pendant kit or camera holder. AXIS designs it for indoor retail and commercial spaces.
Compatibility — check before buying:
You also need a pendant kit or camera holder with a 3/4″ NPS thread for your camera — for example the AXIS T91A04 Camera Holder, T94B02D or TM4101 Pendant Kit, or the TP3106-E Pendant Kit. AXIS lists camera series M10, M11, M20, M30, M31, M50, M55, P13, P14, P32, P33 and Q35 with the right adapter. The maximum load is 1.6 kg, so heavier cameras need a different mount. Not sure?
