AXIS TI8202 Recessed Mount — for I8016-LVE
Recessed mountI8016-LVEIndoor / outdoorBlack
The AXIS TI8202 Recessed Mount (part number 02067-001) sets an AXIS network video intercom into the wall instead of on it. It is made for the AXIS I8016-LVE Network Video Intercom and AXIS also lists the I7010-VE, I7010-VE Safety and I7020. The mount is sheet metal and plastic in black, weighs 0.28 kg, and is suitable for indoor and outdoor walls. T10 screws and an installation guide come in the box. In practice it gives an entrance intercom a flush, vandal-resistant look where the wall allows a recess.
Compatibility — check before buying:
Needs a cavity in the wall. For mounting on the wall surface, AXIS makes the TI8602 Wall Mount instead. Our feed calls this item a wall mount; AXIS names it a Recessed Mount. The intercom is not included. AXIS does not publish the cut-out dimensions on the product page — ask us before you open the wall. Not sure? Tell us your model and we check it for you.

Singular Expert Insight
Decide recessed or surface early: a recessed intercom needs the cavity before plastering, while the TI8602 suits existing walls. Plan the PoE cable to the recess at the same time. For PoE, see our PoE switches.
